The Marathon Pilot’s Navigator was first developed in partnership with Kelly Air Force Base in 1986. This 41mm version is made with CeraShell®, Marathon’s proprietary case construction made up of bio-sourced plastic and ceramic powder. Included in the watch are removable spring bars, a radial-mounted tritium tube insert that’s affixed into the bezel pip, and an aluminum bezel to deliver a more tactile rotation. The right side of the watch flares out to form a built-in crown guard that protects the winding stem and helps stabilize the lightweight composite case on your wrist—a feature originally added for field operations—and the military-standard warning indicator symbolizes that the watch contains a radioactive (tritium) isotope.
